Things I miss in muvee Reveal .....

Just a quick note on things I found with the VADO basic muvee software and then I upgraded to the DVD burning basic burning version.
And then I went for the full blown version of muvee REVEAL, because I liked what I saw and how the program worked.
I would have thought all the things in the more basic versions would have been included in REVEAL, And even the 31 styles I have in the the upgraded VADO version, I may have downloaded some free styles.
Some of them are useless but it's nice to have them anyway. But it still came with more styles than REVEAL. And the big thing I miss is the SNAPSHOT MODE & the 30 Consecutive Photo Mode.
This would make for some super slow motion effects of fast moving action clips and just nice to be able to get a single pic in the snapshot mode etc.
I also thought all the styles that were in the basic programs would have been included and then REVEAL would have just added more to the mix.
An upgrade or the top of the line version should always have what you had and THEN MORE.
So now I use the basic version in the VADO when I want the snap shot mode and then save the pics and then add them into REVEAL.
A little more work but it gets the job done.
Just my 2 cents to make REVEAL better and the way it should have been

Thanks for being a supporter of muvee Products.

You are right in saying any top-end product should support all the features available in basic version. However in this case the product that comes with Creative Vado was based on a different line of product.

Just a background. muvee autoProducer was our flagship product until muvee Reveal came up last year. However, muvee Reveal was rewritten completely and the underlying technology was completely replaced in order to take advantage of latest crop of hardware and GPU. Unfortunately this meant we have to break the compatibility with our old styles. At the same time, muvee Reveal requires a reasonably new hardware and GPU support.

Our partnership with Creative was based on autoProducer code base. We are still selling autoProducer for users who do not have systems that satisfy the higher requirements of muvee Reveal. As such we are committed to support it and any derivative products until we replace them with a suitable product.

The two features you mentioned are part of Creative Vado Central. Unfortunately it is not possible to use those features in our full product as they are not developed to sit within Creative Vado Central.
