Possible to make a muvee with no editing?

I have a short video clip (2:31) that I want to put to a song. But whether I choose a longer or shorter song than the actual clip - muvee keeps editing my clip down to 1:50. I realize it probably wants to 'help' me edit but I don't need anything chopped off. I tried playing around with the settings including making the whole clip 'magicmoments' as well as going to personalize and clicking 'summarize to manual length' and entering 2:31.

Can I even do what I am attempting to or will the program always edit my clip down for me?

For muvee Reveal:

Simply click on 'Personalize' and select the 'Use all photos and video' option under the 'Duration' tab. This option will preserve your original footage without auto-editing it.

Works now, thanks! But am i stuck using the 'plain vanilla' style now? Any other style I use extends the time of the clip by almost 2 minutes and the song I picked is forced to loop...

Some styles (including "Classic Vanilla") apply slow motion on video depending on the music. If you don't want the slow motion, you can turn it off in "Personalize" dialog's "Settings" tab. In the "Allow video slow motion" option, select "No, always show video at its original speed".

I am extremely frustrated.....I have about 10 video clips totaling 2:32 that I am trying to put to music.

I do not need anything fancy, but I do want the clips to play smoothly and at real time, without any skipping or delays. I have changed the settings to say 'no slow motion', 'use all photos', but the program still chops the video. When I preview each video clip individually it plays find.

Can you please recommend a solution? I am trying to finish this for my daughters talent show......
