Latest Reveal Software Update

Finally!!! I updated to the latest software last night and Reveal finally works like it is suppose too!!!! Before, it would lock up all the time and it was hit and miss to get the thing to render a 3 minute video. I am now able to throw .MTS files and photos at it and it has rendered perfectly for me!!!

This is a truly fantastic product now! Man am I one happy camper!!!

I am glad that the software has delighted you (finally). muvee Reveal was a large step forward from its predecessors; the autoProducer family of products in terms of its underlying architecture. This allowed us to build the foundation which allows Reveal to provide many exciting new features in the future, but in the meantime, some unknowns and rough edges got folded in.

Reveal's entire rendering engine was re-written, an entire new library of styles had to be re-authored, and they now support 3D, real-time full screen previews etc. The entire usability was tested and redesigned; its now faster than ever to make your muvee just the way you like it. We recieved some (well deserved) flak from many users upon initial release about the stability of Reveal. The team have been diligently refreshing Reveal every month this past year with bug fixes and small enhancements; and we are seeing less issues crop up up from our increasing user base. Our users (like yourself) are beginning to notice the difference.

Hi, how do i update to the latest build? Reveal came with my HP Pavilion. The lable is 7.0.35.8201 and the build # is 2044

When i click check for updates it says there is none

This one seems to have a bug where some the text i setup in the muvee gets pushed out of place and displayed in the wrong colour. When testing every thing is fine. But then I go to export the muvee to DVD, WMV, MPEG1-2 etc you will see the out of place text in the render preview and in the resulting file. The worse part is, after an attempt at exporting (completed or canceled) the master file now also has the out of place / incorrect colour text applied to it which mean you will have to go back over the whole thing to reposition and recolour text.

I havent heard back from support since i uploaded the sample of the output and master files. My meeting is tomorrow and I cant seem to fix this problem.

I was hoping an update to the latest build would fix it but i dont kno how to do that

Any ideas on the update or how to fix my prob?

You can update to the latest build via the "Check for updates" menu item within muvee Reveal.

I also am using muvee, which came pre loaded on my HP HDX18, purchased in March 2009. Build # 1907. When I check for updates, msg says I have the latest version and no updates available. How do I go about upgrading?

Hi jserra001, for HP version (1907) "Check for Updates" will only work when there is a critical update to it.Currently, there is no critical patches.

I have been having problems lately rendering my slide-shows to DVDs. My computer ends up non-responsive and I have to close down the application. It shows I am starting to save or render it but then it locks up and becomes non-responsive. I updated my video card drivers and reinstalled muvee Reveal twice from my HP recovery manager utility. Since this product came with my new computer (Feb 09) I believe I am in need of your latest or newest update(s) to fix my issues. However I don't know how to do that since I have not officially registered this muvee Reveal software. BTW: I have also had error messages stating "unable to find the file".

I sure hope someone can help me out with my concerns, I would greatly appreciate it.
