Tips for Panasonic Lumix ZS3 (AVCHD Lite video file)

Hello,

I hope this post will help people and save hours of frustration

I used to have problems with Muvee Reveal using video files from my panasonic Lumix ZS3 (AVCHD lite).

Simply convert your video files (in AVCHD format) to the windows media video in a avi container.

I use MediaCoder to convert the video files from the .mts files (AVCHD lite) to .avi (in windows media video coded) using the .avi container.

You can get the free software from: http://www.mediacoderhq.com/

I attached the preset file for your convenience. (It is an .xml file stored in a zip file)

The proper support for AVCHD Lite pertaining to frame rate issue will be fixed in the next release.

Yes. Btw, thanks for helping to test the DIVX version to see if this build fixed your problem. hehe... not really a resolution to Reveal's issue (yet!)

unfort i have tested it using the output DivxHD but it is still the same.vid portion runs too fast
it still has only one setting @ 30fps!

so you can say it really boils down to what options are available in the next release..i hope 24/25 fps is covered...

has the new release Reveal 8 solved our little issue yet? ie 24/25 fps output avchd/HDWMV

found out from Patrick, version 8 does not solve this issue.....
