I am having a problem in Reveal. I can not get rid of a backround image I selected from file using the customize option. No matter what style, if I use the default background or try selecting o new custom background, the same old background is inserted on the DVD. The default or new custom image shows when burning the movie but the old image is always inserted on the DVD. I have contactedsupport but I have not received a solution to this problem. I uninstalled, ran Reveal cleaner and reinstalled. Same results. Any ideas?
If I save it to the hard drive no image is saved at the start of the movie. It only appears when I save/burn to DVD. When the DVD opens the same background image shows up for all styles nomatter if I select the default or select a different image from file. It appears that the new image will be used but the same old image shows up on the burned DVD.
Can you please tell me the steps that you have performed to modify the background image.
I did the same steps as given below
1) make muvee 2) Save muvee (DVD burning option) 3) click on customize.. ( in my case selected theme is "muvee" ) 4) Background image change to another image (.jpg) and click ok 5) Now you should be able to see background image on muveeShare window 6) Burn DVD
Final output has modified background image.
Please let me know what steps you have performed to modify the background image.
This is the exact steps that I take and before the DVD is burnt the correct menu background shows up but the same, wrong image is always inserted on the DVD. I have tried the default background and selecting a custom background. Looks right until the DVD is done and has the same, wrong image as the background. I have even deleted the image that is used but there must be a system file that has kept this image. I have uninstalled Reveal, ran muvee cleaner fo Vista and reinstalled with the same issue. I have too many programs to restore my computer to factory settings and start over. I am going to have to save all muvees to the hard drive and then burn the DVD using a different program. That is a pain and I would prefer to fix Reveal.
Is it possible for you to post us back the background image that you are trying to use. Same time please can you try to replace the background image with attached picture and let me know if that works fine.
I am trying to get rid of a background image. I deleted the image from my computer(my pictures file) but it still get placed on the final DVD. It is just a scanned in image of the High School commencment brochure from a class of 1959. Your image does not work either. I can select other images when creating the muvee to be burnt, it shows up as if it will be used but the burnt DVD always has the old image as the menu background after the DVD is burnt. If I save the file to my hard drive and then use Roxio to create a DVD the problem does not exist. It only happens when burning a muvee to DVD from Reveal.. The two step process using Roxio is time consuming and I would like to get Reveal working correctly again.. I used Reveal for over 1 year with no problem. This issue only started this summer after using this image for the background for the High School reunion DVD. Now that image is placed on every DVD I burn no matter what image I select when creating the new Muvee to be burnt to DVD
This is till happening even though I Uninstalled Reveal and ran Muvee cleaner for Vista and then reinstalled. Even if I select a different photo thru customize this picture continues to be the only one that shows up.
I just did a short test DVD to see if anything was different. It is not but I discovered that the wrong image is inserted during the building project phase. I opened the output folder while the muvee was be generated and saved it from temporary to my documents. The saved version has the correct background image but after building the project takes place and the muvee is burnt to DVD to same old wrong image is on the DVD.
I used the snipping tool and copied an image of the TEST DVD with the wrong background still being inserted. You can see the wrong image in the file created on the DVD
