Hi I am new to this community, so forgive me if this topic has already been covered. I have seen the muvee Reveal which i think is an excellent product. I am now thinking about purchasing the muvee reveal x, and down loaded the trail version. The problem is I and making films on an ongoing basis and find that the muvee styles are to repetitive if you are producing films that are 30 mins plus. There is also the problem that the amount of transitions that take place in that time is will overwhelm the viewer of the final movie especially when using AVCHD footage as the can be quite all of small files in 30 plus min of film. I suppose what i am looking for is a product that has the Fantastic Automation of Muvee but is a little more intuitive.

e.g. A movie that i make will be typically 30 mins in length shot on an AVCHD camera will have 260 clips (cuts) at an average of 7 seconds each clip. As you can imagine as Muvee uses one style at a time and generally creates a transition at each cut (depending on music and pace selected) this would be quite disorientating and repetitive to watch over 30 or more minutes.

I suppose my question is does movie have plans or is there any way of getting a Style that..

Incorporate a combination of transitions for the movie you are making.
Gaining some control over the amount of times transition are used throughout a project with this sort of length (maybe specify transition to happen every 3 cuts or randomise it more).

I ask these questions as I believe you have a very unique and solid product and with these changes you would open up the door to many more users that like me have been waiting for something like this.
I WOULD LOVE TO WORK ON A PROJECT LIKE THIS WITH YOU. Hope you can point me in the right direction on this.

Thanks for listening

Your post is almost 2 years old and unfortunately, I didn't see any replies to you. If you receive this post, let me know & also if you are still interested in working with Muvee 11 as you described? I have some thoughts for you as I'm soon going to explore doing work similar to yours.
Thanks,
David
