I have been a long time supporter of this software but have finally reached the end of dealing with technical issues and will look elsewhere for solutions. Most of the time the software does an OK job as long as you don't ask too much of it but every-time I need it the most it seems to crash and I end up using other software or web based tools that work better. I keep buying the upgrades in the hopes things will improve but as with many applications, it just gets worse! Another reason I have decided to move on is the level of tech support has been unacceptable and even under the best circumstances it has just taken too long to get answers and when they do come it usually involves a lot of time and effort on my part and I just don't have time to deal with uninstall and re-install on virtually every problem I have ever had.

The last straw for me was I finally decided to try the voice over and all works fine until I try and render my final file and the the voice over audio never renders out no matter what I have done.

I noticed most of the posts on here were pretty old and wanted to post this so people know that even after years ( I think I have owned it ever since the very first version ) there are still lots of unresolved issues and there are just too many other more reliable choices out there now for doing this. Heck, even my iPad and iPhone have aps that are working better for me for some of what I would have used this program for and I think the most expensive one I bought was $4.99.

If this software improves I will probably still use it - just very frustrated and don't think they understand how much time is sent on our end trying to deal with this stuff!

Have you tried a private message to Patrick, moderator? He just remotely attached to my PC and resolved the issue I had with Win8.1 and Reveal v11.

I have created a movie and recorded a sound track and a voiceover. When I play the movie the soundtrack and voiceover work as expected. When I save the movie (in this case to I tunes for playback on my Android tablet, the soundtrack is fine but the voiceover has disappeared. This is very frustrating but it is possible I am doing something wrong. Anyone have any ideas?

This is great advice, Mirage618. I have a massive love/hate relationship with muvee. It has infuriated me so often, but when it works, the results are magical. I've wasted more hours trying to troubleshoot on my own. I swear the old AutoProducer was way more solid.

I use Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall and I have the registry scanning set to 'Advanced'. Normally this picks up all sorts of crud left over by the program's uninstaller, but for muvee it only showed one innocuous-looking entry. It made me suspicious, but I didn't feel like spelunking through the registry at that moment. I have since upgraded to muvee 12, only to find that it produces horrible HD outpout. I then backed down to muvee 11, then muvee X (all the extra 'features' they added after version 10 doesn't really interest me) when I started experiencing overlapping pictures problems (which turned out to be present in v10 as well :? ).
