Cannot Install Muvee Reveal 11 (Cannot unistall Runtime)

Postby jsragos on Thu Dec 19, 2013 8:16 pm

Hello Team.

I recently upgraded Reveal X to Reveal 11 and am having the same issues as others that have posted this similar problem. Basically, the program is erroring out with a message such as "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package the box below." Then it prompts "The older version of muvee Reveal Runtime cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group"

Can you also email me the nex steps?

Thank you.

SFisher suggested that v10 (aka X) be uninstalled before trying to install v11. For my issue with C++ Patrick attached remotely and transferred some patch files to my PC and now v11 works on my Win8.1 x64 machine.
